Dear Friends,

We are so proud of the event’s turn out and the overall success of our very first tournament! Despite nearly 8 inches of snow falling the night before and during the entirety of our event we had over 40 people who braved the weather, made it out to the event, and donated to The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. All together we were able to raise One Thousand Dollars for local youth and had one heck of a time. Here in the next week, the photographer of the event, Antonio Rodriguez, will be editing his incredible set of photos and we will be uploading them there after. We appreciate everyone involved and send out our heart-filled gratitude to every one of you. Long live The Snow Dogs!

Also, a reminder that sign-ups, team assignments, and an explanation of the rules are starting at 10 A.M. sharp this Saturday February 4th. They will be in the Windsor Hall, located on the Des Moines Rugby Pitches. 210 39th St. West Des Moines, IA 50265. Games begin at 11 A.M.! Thanks again to everyone who is participating or attending!

In the interest of charity and good-times The Snow Dogs will be hosting our very first Annual Flag-Football Tournament this February 4th and 5th to benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. The tournament will be round-robin style and will feature eight teams of ten randomly selected participants. Our hope is that the snow will be deep, the donations will be plenty, and we will have a weekend of winter weather football just like we played as kids. Bundle up and bring your friends!

Participants are expected to make a $25 minimum donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa at the time of sign up.
